EESC participates in Euroforum Standard VAT return

EESC participates in Euroforum “Standard VAT return” in Bratislava, Slovakia, on 10 January 2014

Mr Pálenik, rapporteur for the EESC opinion on the standard VAT declaration, acted as main speaker at the event which was aimed at dissemination and discussion of the European Commission proposal on a standard VAT return. He emphasized that this proposal would positively affect the functioning of EU market and cut the red tape.

At the event, Mr Pálenik also described the functioning of EESC, its role, structure, and the way the work is conducted.
